The performances of the City of Dunedin Choir ensure that Dunedin audiences have the same opportunity as others around the world to enjoy choral masterpieces that have been performed and admired for centuries.The Choir's concerts provide an uplifting and enriching experience for our audiences, while the soloists, choir and orchestra experience the challenges of rehearsing and performing wonderful music.
Presenting concerts is a challenge and the Choir spends many voluntary hours fundraising. We invite you to Partner the Choir and together we can promote a rich culture of wonderful music and continue to bring outstanding soloists and world-class performances to Dunedin.
Become a Partner in Music and in exchange for a minimum annual donation of $500.00 we offer you:
- 4 complimentary tickets to each concert presented by the Choir in the calendar year covered by the donation (normally 2 or 3 concerts). These make an ideal corporate gift or employee reward!
- attend pre-concert talks and post-concert suppers
- Partners are listed in each concert programme
- Partners' logos are displayed on the Choir's website
- Partners may display the "Partner in Music" logo to promote their corporate involvement in esteemed community cultural activities
- attend weekly Choir rehearsals
- regular Concert Watch newsletters
How much does it cost?
A minimum donation of $500.00 per company per calendar year. The City of Dunedin Choir is administered by the Dunedin Choral Society Inc. which is registered with the New Zealand Charities Commission as a charitable organisation (registration number: CC29845).
